Just venting out
I have to constantly pretend in my own house with my family, pretending as in constantly have to force myself to follow what my family does and believe just because i am born as their child. Going against their beliefs would instantly label me as a bad person that needs to be fixed.
I don't know how long I'll be able to maintain my composure, the only logical solution is to wait until i am financially independent but, it's starting to get scarce since I'm mentally exhausted having to pretend constantly

Sorry to hear that you are struggling at the moment. Pretending to be okay with what you might feel is not okay takes a lot of energy and must hurt inside. You matter and your opinion matters!

I was just thinking about this your are saying here. Pretending to be someone you are not is so exhausting. I also try to fit in at work for example. I have my own goals and dreams to persue. People often see you as a reflection of their on fears and insecurities. It frustrates me. It also makes me wonder, am I damaged goods, am I a bad person or bad employee and so on. This starts to bother me alot and I feel overwhelmed with all these new questions and emotions. I do now realize that we all wear different masks every day. One for work, one inside our family and so on. We are only free of this mask when we are alone. Inside our minds our mask is always off. thanks for sharing your very person journey.
Iʼm so sorry your going thru all of that, and pretending to be ok when your drowning in your thought suck:(
