Sensory Awareness
October is Sensory Awareness Month, sometimes referred to as sensory processing awareness month. This event was established to draw attention to and educate the public about the special needs that are faced by people with sensory issues. Sensory issues may occur on their own or may often overlap with other issues, including autism, ADHD, or OCD.

Do you or someone you know suffer from sensory processing issues? I know a couple people that are very sensitive to certain sensory skills.
What do you know about this disorder? It can seriously disrupt someone's life so treatment may be a possibly advised.

I agree with you about getting treatment. There are some things we simply cannot do on our own.

What do you know about this disorder? certin things feel WRONG well others are a safe textures and some ore just ok

I hope that you all get through okay in life and get the support you need. I hear you about textures, there are some textures that I do avoid touching like velvet.
