@alysianna your a amazing person ❤ Thank you for being you ❤
@Tinywhisper11
being me comes with chlenges as my mom says i cant get acomodations for my problems aat school and that i have to "own up" when i mess up and i do but i would mess up less with ore suport i have an IEP (individualized education plan) at school for my maths and so i an tpe but my mom who was there and hard the doctor say i have what was formerly asbergers and an iq in like the 70's i think should be tesed for my vary odvi ADHD says "I need to stop pretendeding i have stuff wrong with me and figer out how to work within my limits" but when i do that she says that it is not good enough or i dont need help and she dose not know i help so any pppl onld the two vistion kids and one mild kid as she has meet my bf and my boy bff but if i tell her i hrelp others she will tell me to stop so i tae on the burden alone but i may tell my dad as i can trust him
@alysianna
oh yeah and my mom diagnosed me with dyslexia refuse to get me tested to check me part of my IEP and She says I have a sleeping problemwhich is probably part of my autismand or ADHDBut she refused to get me diagnosed with that and get me on medsJust refuses to get me on meds for my depression that she knows I haveI have a therapist she even went as far as saying that sense i " treat the cats like a toy"If we had to get them registered as surface animals/ emotional support she would have gotten the registered to anyone but me you know it would have been easiest to get me since I have a mental professional and me and my brother are the ones you need emotional support and most the most as my brother hasa higher level of autismand one of the cats is supposed to be hisOh no I actually paid attention to the catsAnd play with thatSo I treat them like a toySo I don't get emotional support anymore if we had to do thatBut we didn't have to do thatAlso I'mPart of the reason the cat that was going to be mineGoes outsideHe is my catAnd I'm going to convince my parents to get him registered as my emotional support cat slashservice catNothing to listenBut my therapist was open to the idea just said that she never heard of anyone recommending a cat beforebe able to get her to do it
@alysianna life isn't always easy or fair, and some people just don't understand other people's disabilities. It's sad that your mum isn't doing more to help you. But your doing amazing ❤ so keep on being you ❤
@Tinywhisper11
mom should understand what I have as all three of us kids have very levels of autism and her sibling has autism but she refuses to do researchSo she just said I don't need the help that I needAlso the school says there's no class for meAnd yet there is a teacher who teaches my levelAs one of the paraprose I told me about the classAs they used to be in it and have what I haveProbably minus the ADHDBut the school of my parents said I don't need the helpWhen I really doEither that I need a parapro but in my senior year I just control my IEP so I will make them put me in that teacher's class and I'll make some test me for ADHD I'll get me a referral i'll get my therapist this year to get me a referralAnd I need ADHD testing dyslexia testing and some sleep thing as I can't focus or sleep. I can be me when I'm not around my parents as they force me to exist when I don't want to they make me wake up by like 11:00 when most kids my age is sleeping in til 1:00 when they have nothing to do which is me cuz I have nothing to do with the same routine everyday i have no reason to existAround other people until the 4th of JulyOr if I have to ask my dad a question about my flightCuz I'm leaving next Monday So I can be me for 4 daysOr at least as much me as I canBecause I'm not as close with these grandparents but I am really close to themBut I can'tDo some things I normally do when I am me And I have some weird tendencies with food As in I mixed Chick-fil-A sauce in with riceand ramen Basically I put sauce on everything I can
@amiablePeace77 I believe in God, angels and heaven. Not in the same ways as I did growing up, but I know now they were lies. I don't count myself as any particular religion, but faith and hope, is something that has been very comforting to me ❤
also again only in adulthood, but I believe in the kindness of strangers. I wouldn't be alive with out them ❤
@Tinywhisper11
I am glad that all what you went through did not destroy your beliefs which help you to find comfort and peace. Total strangers can be more like family then those who we're close to. The most help I got in my life came from 7cups.
@amiablePeace77 yes thank God for 7 cups ❤❤

Always get informed instead of being told what you ought to believe (lesson from my father)
If you watch your manners, you'll come out as kind to others (lesson from my step-grandma)
If someone has hurt you or your feelings, just you wait. They will have their comeuppance (lesson from experience)
If you have any talent in anything, learn and practice (lesson from my mother)
If you find yourself in a terrible situation, find the irony and humour (lesson from my grandfather)
There is joy in being generous (lesson from my mother-in-law)
The worse people are, the better you ought to be (lesson from a colleague)
If you did anything wrong, own it immediately (lesson from my Latin teacher)
Self-confidence and arrogance are opposites (lesson from my husband)
Burma shave
Something good that I have always believed in is God and scripture. Scripture and faith has helped me in life navigate with truama .I didn't want to walk in darkness so I leaned into scripture because he will have the light of life 🤍
@SummerKay2024
I am glad that scripture and faith has guided you through the darkness of trauma. I hope coming here will give you support too.
Yes coming here helps me tremendously.

@akunknown
Oh and also “be yourself no matter what” is also a strong belief in my life. This helped me understand and know my true authentic self and form a special unique closeness with myself which helps me not feel lonely despite not having any other friends, well in real life at least anyway, except myself which now I’m ok with. It’s also helped me avoid to pretend to be someone I’m not just for temporary friendships which are fake to get me through 12 grades during my grade school years, thus trading parts of myself away and risking never getting those parts back. Thank God I was strong enough to not go in the that direction
I've always believed in God and He has helped me through things that broke me, and in some cases, could've killed me.
@tealChestnut6477
I am happy that you have God to lean on!
@amiablePeace77
Me too though it's hard sometimes
@amiablePeace77 nice post
