Why?
I I have just turned 17 this month, but I feel like I'm not growing up, I'm so immature, I cry easily 😭😭😭
@saiyeeda
Maturing doesn't mean you shouldn't cry...
Don't worry, you'll learn a lot of things in your life, and you'll understand what I mean.
Crying is a sign of strength, not weakness. It means that you can handle your emotions better. When you release yours emotions through tears, u are actually able to think and process ur thoughts better. Think about it
@saiyeeda
its ok saiyeeda, everyone cries. I am around your age and you wont believe how much I cry too. When things get hard, we cry. that's just how we humans are. In fact tears mean we are processing the feelings, and releasing them. That's your body's way of dropping the issues rather than internalizing them and leading to health issues. There are so many health issues which come from suppressing emotions and not naturally expressing them by crying.
Hi @saiyeeda
No you are not immature. Crying is not a sign of maturity. Believe me I'm way older than you and still question myself if I am growing or not. But this is a good thing , it will help you connect with yourself more.
@saiyeeda Well..a lot of people still feel like children even into their 20s (I'm 21 this year and I still do sometimes!). And crying easily doesn't make you immature, it just means you feel your emotions!
We all grow at our own pace, so there's no deadline to become a certain version of yourself. We have our whole lives to grow up, so it's okay to enjoy being young while you still can. 😊
Lots of love to you <3
Happy belated birthday! 🫶 Don't worry, 17 is still so young. Growing up doesn't happen overnight, and everyone matures at their own pace. Crying easily doesn't make you immature. It just means you feel things deeply, and that's completely okay. You'll grow and change more than you think. 💛
