Why?
I I have just turned 17 this month, but I feel like I'm not growing up, I'm so immature, I cry easily 😭😭😭
@saiyeeda
You sound so nice, you'll find the right path, keep going.. You can be anything you put your mind to. There's always hope.🌲
Tears are not a weakness, nor are they shameful or indicative of maturity. It means you have a sensitive heart, and that's a beautiful thing to possess in this day and age.
@saiyeeda, crying is more so a natural human response to life, words, change, whatever it is. I wouldn't define it as " oh I cry because I haven't grown up yet and am still a teenager". Every age person cries; some may hide their emotions more than others. But I wouldn't define emotions as being mature or immature if that makes sense
Crying easily doesnt make you immature.. :) sometimes when our bodies start aging our minds try to stay young which is good for the most part . Growing up does mean more responsibilities .. but that doesnt mean you cant still have fun and enjoy your life ..i didnt feel like I was growing up either im 53 and I still say im not mature enough for all this adulting haha ..hang in there sweets .. you 'll get there ..

Crying easily isn't a sign of immaturity, it's a sign that you're human. I hope you give yourself the gentleness and care you deserve 🤗💜
Just because you cry doesn't make you immature. It just means you feel emotions deeply. And honestly, if when you're angry, sad, hurt. Upset, happy, excited, or overjoyed, and it comes out if you in the form of tears, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. If crying is how you're expelling those emotions, that's literally not the worst thing at all!!!!
It’s okay to feel things sweet girl
@saiyeeda
Me too. And I'm older than you. Some people are just more sensitive to others. I've felt the same way. It feels like you haven't grown, but it isn't that way. Look at yourself and think about what's changed. Have you become more mature? Do you think differently? How do you regulate your emotions? Have your opinions changed? How have you changed? We spend these years figuring ourselves out and I'm still doing the same. Crying is not a weakness even though it feels like it is. Just remember that it is not a weakness. Listen to the person in this thread that said "its okay to feel things" just try not to overwhelm yourself in the process💜
Don't worry, we are still just kids. I turned 17 this month too. Better to never fully grow up😅🫶🏻
