To me the most interesting topic to learn about is the mind. The mind is just amazingly mysterious and exiting and learning about how we create things in our minds also helped me with understanding challenges in life.

What was one of the most interesting topics you learned about?

@amiablePeace77 I think I have to agree with you! I think our brains are incredible. I think it's so funny because in reality, when we are studying our brains, our brains are actually studying themselves 😂 It's incredible how much we don't know about ourselves!

It's amazing what meditation can do for us and I believe we only know part of it yet.

What was one of the most interesting topics you learned about?

The most interesting is called neuroplasticity. What that means is the brain responds to repetition and tends to make the pathways in our brain stronger that get more attention.

What I have found is the more I practice gratitude and other positive emotions, the stronger they get.

I agree with you! As a major in psychology, and mind being the centre of most of our discussions, it is probably the most fascinating thing to hear about!

@amiablePeace77 I have loads! The Mandela effect is particularly interesting. Also different psychology experiments are really intriguing like the Stanford prison experiment. I also love learning abt how movies are made and I have a recent obsession with watching behind the scenes videos.

@SereneBel27

It's astonishing how false information can be kept in memories by many people (Mandela effect). Just saw that there is even a movie about the Stanford prison experiment.

What is the most interesting thing?

For me, the most interesting thing has always been whatever is the most valuable thing to me. And what determines the value of something? The value to me, or to anyone?

Things of value take up most of my free time. I welcome ideas of great value.

What determines the value of something is a really great philosophical question!

When humans know that too much of anything kills, such as overusing or relying on mobile phones, they become confused, fatigued, and judgmental, etcetera, yet we continue to use them to find medicine for those issues through mobile phones in the name of being social. That's really interesting.

To me right now the most interesting is DID. I have read some books about it but it’s still like amazing. Amazing how our brain can creat something like that to survive. I think I will never fully understand it. How can something like that develop in early childhood. Hmmm I could listen 1000 YouTube videos about it.

@kala

Our brains/minds are amazing and I believe they will do everything to protect us when an avalanche of challenges is close to hit us. In the moment itself it might be helpful but when it develops into a pattern which stays even when the threat is gone it can become rather unhelpful. Nice that you inform yourself, it's always good to gather as much information as possible in my view.
