Feeling deep gratitude
When I drove back home last weekend I passed two car accidents. Luckily no one was hurt but the cars were damaged. I felt very sorry for the people, for all the worries they must have now and the trouble in getting the cars fixed again. However, I was also deeply grateful that I had a safe trip.

@amiablePeace77 I will always remember feeling grateful when I volunteered with sick children in the hospital. I am grateful that I am in a position to help and I am grateful for my health too. I can't imagine the pain that those families must go through seeing their little ones struggle 😞

It must be very hard for those families but I also believe they are very grateful that there were volunteers like you!
@amiablePeace77 It's tough too because that hospital had a lot of children that were in the system and many families weren't involved or had to prove they could be responsible for their children. It amazed me how happy the children still remained, even while being in the position they were in. ❤️ We can all learn a lot from our children! Thank you for your kind words!!💕

Some kids have it really hard already at an early age. I find it's amazing how well they can do as adults when getting help.

@amiablePeace77 I saw a guy on motorcycle have an accident with a black SUV at an intersection today. Every moment is a gift!

I hope that guy who had the accident is okay. Seeing situations like that are strong reminders of how precious life is.

I've been seeing a lot of homeless people these days.
It reminds me of how lucky I am to have a roof over my head, shower and toilet, hot and cold running water, sink, clothes, food, a fridge, a bed and bedding...

I can relate to what you said. It is sad how many people have to suffer from not being able to get the essentials in life but it also reminds everyone how good we actually have it.
@amiablePeace77 I agree with that for sure! Many of us don't realize how much strength we have until it's essential that we stay strong!
