What Lessons Has COVID-19 Brought You?
Hi everyone,
I hope you are all well and safe and looking after yourself and those around you.
Often even in the darkest of times, we find a lesson in our suffering. We grow through the pain we've experienced. We've been through a stage of collective suffering, and we are still going through this. It has overwhelmed the entire universe and has also brought us together. It's not often that we are going through the same issue together in life.
I have learned to connect more with loved ones because time is passing us by, and it can be a distraction, but when we learn to be present and take the time to communicate with our loved ones, it's so rewarding. I have also spent the time reflecting more on the increased time at home. I also feel grateful for the reduced air pollution and increased kindness; I think I've felt people really connect more during the fragility of life.
The more an individual is aware of the delicate nature of life, the easier it becomes to approach each moment with a higher level of sensitivity. Vulnerability elicits kindness, authenticity, joy, and the most honest, loving form of expression. The fragility of life serves as a constant reminder for the need to live in the present moment. - Russell Forsyth
Can we please share what lessons COVID-19 has brought into your life?

Living in the present moment and patience are two very good lessons that you have learned from 2020/2021 and the collective issues we have all faced. I am so glad you were able to reframe and learn from a challenge like COVID-19 has put upon us.
Thank you for sharing :)
@LisaMeighanMBPsS Thanks for reaching out and responding. I really appreciate it. Patience is a good idea but, it is very hard to do.
I think I have learned another lesson lately and that is to be grateful. Make each moment count and spend time cultivating gratitude in the moment because it is all we truly have. We are often rushing onto the next thing, but if we stayed in the moment for a little longer, we will feel calmer and happier.
@LisaMeighanMBPsS Days and weeks go very fast.
the older I get the faster life seems to go. There is no putting on the breaks, I can only appreciate each moment.
@soulsings Thanks for your reply. I do get overwhelmed by time moving fast.
@greenYard2803 I hear you. It has inspired me to live more in this moment and not worry about future so much.
