When do you find yourself crying?
Some people tear up when someone says a nasty comment to them. Other people cry and cry watching a sad film.

What Makes You Cry?
@soulsings I cry when I feel like the world is against me. Sometimes it is good to be alone and just think about all the bad things in your mind as you hug your pillow letting go of all that emotional pain. Every tear represents the negativity leaving your heart and being replaced with new positive ones. This is the reason why I cry about my problems. I don't see it as a weak action, rather a strengthening exercise.
@itsjivu2023 I hear you crying sometimes is a natural response. The tears are a way the body rids itself of toxins.
I find I need to also spend time expressing gratitude for what is right in my world: I am breathing, my heart is beating, the body is taking care of itself. I have potential to do good things.
I am a very emotional person, so I cry a lot.
I cry when I see or hear about anything sad, and I cry when I think about the loved ones that have passed away. Sometimes I do shed tears of happiness though as well.

I hardly ever cried, but my mum died on Christmas Day 2021 and since then any little thing will get me going (not just crying over my mum and missing her)....I even cried during a Minions movie over something that wasn't really that sad. 😭
@Bubbleducky sorry for your loss. That is so rough losing a parent.
I find when the grief well is tapped for any reason it all comes pouring out.

@soulsings when I think of the mistakes I've made, the sister and brother I lost, the dreams that will never come true, the fact that I'm jobless and running out of savings, of being middle-aged with less time to turn things around...I really wish I'd never been born
Everything makes me cry, one of the nicknames that has stuck with me from when I was a child is "crybaby princess" But I suppose im an emotional person.

When other people hurt me especially when it’s on purpose.
