Its the weekend!!! What plans do you guys have for this weekend? Meeting up with friends? Working, Taking time to chill out and have some fun? This space is a place to check in and let us know how you are doing, what is going on for you, a place to share the good, the bad and the not so bad things that are going on for you guys :) I hope you find this check in space useful and supportive knowing others out here care about whats going on for you, as dealing with trauma and how it affects you day to day life can feel very isolating and difficult. Even if you just want to say Hi, thats okay too :)

Morning! I stuck up for myself yesterday, so I'm feeling proud, but still emotionally sore from the interaction. I have some homework to do, but I'm hoping to wait some more before I get started on it :p

@Shadeshack Oh wow, well done you for sticking up for yourself :) How does it feel that you did that? I expect if its something you dont find easy to do, you would feel sore from the interaction but sticking up for yourself shows that you actually believe somewhere in you, that you matter. Does the well done you happy dance lol :)

@dancingRainbow45

Thank you!! This was the second time in my life I actually called someone out on their mistreatment of me. It was terrifying, I had to call my sister for support. But I'm glad I did!

@Shadeshack It is terrifying to do, I can totally appreciate how hard it must feel for you but you do not deserve to feel mistreated by anyone and I am so pleased you are finding your voice to call people up on this :) Each time will perhaps feel easier should you need to do this again, and the terror and panic you may feel will eventually be replaced with much more positive and strong feelings that actually you did right, you do deserve better, etc
