Traumatic Experiences Community - Daily Check In - Monday February 26th 2018
Welcome to another Monday. And today is National Tell a Fairy Tale Day.
Have you ever wished your life was more like a fairy tale? Where youd exist in a world of princes and princesses, and live happily ever after? Well perhaps your life is more like a fairy tale than you first think. Because actually, lots of fairy tales have pretty grim plots - of wicked stepmothers, magical curses, fire breathing dragons, or being isolated in a locked castle, or trapped in never ending sleep. Its only after the subject of the fairy tale has fought back against these terrible circumstances they find themselves in, that they finally find their happy ending.
So what can we learn from fairy tales? Do they perhaps tell us that we can be in charge of our own destiny? That we can have terrible events happen in our lives, yet still overcome them and find happiness. How could you give your story that fairy tale ending?

@DeborahUK Hi it's Teresa. I've just started my internship programs though I've been volunteering in here since last Nov.
I think Fairy tale is telling us hope and that we can have some emotional and spiritual help when we need them. And we can have dreams like we had when we were children😉
I hope everyone would have some relaxing time!
