Welcome everyone to a brand new week! Yesterday, for those of you who came to the discussion, I am so proud of each and every one of you. You guys inspire me every day with your perseverance and strength.

I'm going to keep my post a bit shorter today. As a continuation from last week, what are you guys letting go of to start your week? Let something from last week just drift away. Imagine it floating away from you, free and peaceful. Whether it was a task, a memory, a feeling, regret, self loathing, whatever it is, let's all just take a deep breath and let it go.

What's a new beginning that you're looking forward to this week? What are you excited for?

And overall I'd love to hear how your day is going!

Hugs to all!

@Hoxenos

Hi lovely Hox!heart

I am okay, I am back in this site from my break, although it is a bit premature haha! My day went good, I guess. I had made some plans about my future and the house I live in, during my break. I have been making schemes of designing the house with potted flowers and shurbs, trimming the trees, getting things repaired and so on. This has kept me positively occupied and has promoted a sense of happiness and wellbeing. I am glad and proud of myself that I was able to come up with something productive and have been successful in keeping mysefl engaged. My post surgery infection has been taken care of as well, so thats another cool news.

I hope your day has started well and everyone's as well. Days come and go so it is upto us how we make them useful and count, amidst of our life struggles. I wish everyone all the best and Good Morning/Evening! heartsmiley

@Halogen Hey Halogen, welcome back! I just got off a plane myself so I'm a bit drained and it's time for me to buckle down and start replying to these posts!

Hi Hox,

This time of year has always been stressful for me. Plans generally fall through and chaos ensues. So, this year I decided to let go of the past while learning from it as well (it took a while as I was always hopeful for the Holidays I missed as a child). I decided to ask friends to join in for a nice meal with my family at a beautiful place where we can simply enjoy the day. While I hope family members will join in, I feel less vulnerable to any last minute changes or potential chaos. I suppose it is a small step in creating new memories and gaining confidence in my ability to let go of unrealistic expectations as well as becoming proactive.

It is good to see you for the checkin. I hope you have a good week.

@Compassionatelistener108 This sounds wonderful. I love that you're deliberately striving to create new traditions and memories for yourself. The fact that it's so deliberate is a really important factor, I feel, because you're taking control of your happiness, which can be so hard to do. It's very inspiring for me because I'm so introverted and so what you're doing just sounds so amazing to me. Good luck with your plans!!

@Hoxenos

Thank you, I hope things go well too. It is the first attempt after many years of trying different things. I feel you as I am an introvert as well (and a fan of lifelong learning). I may have to retreat into my books immediately following! 😳 It should be a nice day to venture out of my comfort zone. Everyone seems excited so it helps calm my nerves and it is a good feeling to know it will be fun for others as well. Oh, I almost forgot to mention- invite some extroverts it takes the pressure off of carrying the conversation (:
