Traumatic Experiences Community Daily Checkin - Monday 7th August 2017
After two days of relaxation, the Monday is a bit of a struggle to start working. Anyways my dearest friends, So how is the Monday been for you? And what is your expectation from the upcoming week? Let me know the challenges for this week? Also how the challenges can be addressed?
You may have many questions and many for which we have no answers ight now. Remeber what Rainer Rilke had said for that.
Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves. Dont search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer. – Rainer Maria Rilke
All of you are amazing people here and I wish you an amazing week ahead. Take care of yourself people. You all have stayed strong and been amazing till here and continue to stay awesome.

How do I push pass my health issues when I feel I have so many?
@Rebekahwriter13 Hi Rebekah, are you actively trying to address health issues you feel you have, or are you ignoring them for different reasons? What makes you feel the need to push past them?
@dancingRainbow45 I would like a normal life, but all of my health issues are holding me back.
@Rebekahwriter13
Hi Rebecca- I also have a number of health issues and my first thought is there is no easy answer. It helps me to separate those I can do something about, vs. those that I can't. For those I can do something about, it's rarely a quick fix, but one day at a time I try to improve those health issues. For those you can't change, I try to accept the situation. For example, I can't have children,ever. I won't get into details, but after mourning that loss, I try not dwell on it. Better to focus on adoption, or other ways to feel the sense of family I desire with nieces and nephews, or even other aspects of life. If you are the throws of many medical conditions you can do something about, I would just say be kind to yourself and your body. I know it's not easy, but try to be patient. Finally, try to set medical issues aside for some amount of time every day if possible, or even better set an amount of time to focus on your medical issues, and try to live your life as best you can. I don't know your situation, so I don't know what is realistic for you. In my case, setting it all aside makes space to live my life and to seek to enjoy the day even during medical problems. I'm not saying I always manage that or that it's easy. I am sure I have days where I ruminate on it, and I somewhere along the way it's not improving things. Even if I just can watch a movie, or write a old fashioned thank you note, The distraction helps me cope. Best Wishes!!
@Rebekahwriter13. I can relate. I'm not sure what health issues you have but I seem to have accumulated quite a few. Some days I get aggravated and think why did I have to get these. Do you? It is hard to deal with but I'm trying to eat better at least. And u know stress doesn't help them so I do try but don't feel I'm doing very well some days. I try to distract myself or watch a show I like. I hope you're doing ok. Hang in there luv
I'm up early with anxiety. I hate anxiety. Ugh. My ex had to go to the hospital and has to get a pacemaker. He was abusive but because when I finally had the courage to leave for the 3rd time I had met someone and was just getting away and so he got our kids to feel sorry for him and they always check on him and call and worry and I get angry because they know he was abusive but they get mad at me and act like he must not have been that bad and they don't check on me when I'm in the hospital or call. He gets great gifts and I don't. I don't understand why he gets all of their concern and support and I only have one daughter that checks on me. My youngest won't talk to me at all and saw me with bruises all over me but treats me like I'm horrible because I left that way. It was too scary to tell the truth and leave. He would have hurt me. Why do they treat him so well and me so badly?? I get really depressed and hurt. Sometimes i can barely take it anymore. I Don't think they want to admit to themselves that he was that abusive. It really hurts me. Bad.
Just like life, nobody ever answers me. Everyone's always gone. I'm invisible
@wittyTree8219 Hi Witty Im sorry that your feeling invisible and as if your being ignored. You really are not and I have just come across your message and despite it being nearly 1.30am in the morning here. I thought I would give you a quick reply to say please checkin on the latest checkin which is being posted shortly. Im sorry you were up with anxiety. Was it the news about your ex that caused the anxiety?
I think its hard for children in abusive situations within the home because they get torn because wanting the loving dad and most likely hating the abusive dad. Its the same with kids who get hurt, they desperately try and seperate out the abusive dad to the kind dad and I hear that it makes you feel angry. It may be painful for them to acknowledge what has happen, perhaps ignorance is bliss from their viewpoint I dont know. but perhaps try talking to them about how it makes you feel.
