@Kate

This is great timing because I haven't slept very well the past few days. I guess just making sure the room is the right temperature makes it easier to sleep. My furnace broke so my room has been either boiling hot or I open windows and it gets freezing cold so now that it's fixed, it'll be easier. I'm okay besides feeling a little sick.

Hi everyone!

I have always been a big sleeper and I feel best with 9 hours of sleepsmiley

10:30pm - 7:30am is my normal.

I like to have a hot cup of tea at night to unwind.

In bed, I like to read something inspirational like a personal email, article, quote or poem.

I also like to journal or write down any thoughts that are on my mind, it could be something I feel I need to do and/or something bothering me or something positive even. Keeping pencil and paper at my bedside helps me remember to let things go to writing and not leave them in my head. I sleep a lot better that way.

@Kate hi just an FYI the tag list is missing the first line: @Avaray @KLM3278 @Morfo66 @KatieMoon1 @Jenna0903 @melliotm @HearingYourHeart

Saturday's check in was complete but there seems to have been a copy paste error on Sunday that was replicated today. (This is a moot point for me at least -- I haven't received any notifications period since the site update but anyway 🙃) Thanks!

I can barely sleep... I haven't had a decent night's sleep in weeks... I have a lot of nightmares... They seem so real...!!! They're like flashbacks of traumatic episodes [past experiences] that happened to me in the past... crying no

@M2nc4s

So sorry youre going through that. I hate not being able to sleep! I spent years sleeping poorly most nights. It was a difficult time in life. Finally, after years of poor sleep, working with my doctor Ive been able to find a medication that helps me to sleep for most of the night, most nights. Are you experiencing poor sleep as well as the nightmares/flashbacks. I hope things start to get better for you soon.

I like your GIF.

I am getting over a bit of a cold and I got to sleep in this morning, which was nice.

I feel a little sad today. Last night I think it was processing some stuff that happened when I was a kid. I dont really want it to be true, even though I know it doesnt change who I am and what my future can be like. Sometimes it feels like it does, so its bringing me down a little bit, I think Im just sad that some of things happen to me too. It never seemed real before. I know its not the end of the world or anything but its kind of bringing me down a bit right now.

Hi.

Because I haven't been able to sleep properly for the last months, I have recently started taking antidepressants. Last night I had my first nightmares since taking the pills. I know they're not magic but it still feels so sad to be taking the pills, doing all the right things but see my mind is still so broken.

To get a good night's sleep I make sure to not stress before bed. I'll clear my mind and put my worries into tomorrow, or I'll watch ASMR to help me unwind. It's helpful to sleep with someone, too, because I feel safer and more content, so I do that when I can!

I feel great going into this week! Monday had a rocky start but a terrific finish, and today is terrific and productive all around!
