Traumatic Experiences Subcommunity- Daily Check-in: 11th March, 17
Hello magical faces <3 How has your weekend been so far? Have you been sleeping, binge-watching your favorite show or have you been doing my favorite pastime - Grocery shopping!! :D Telll me all about your day and I'm sure I'll feel your pain and strength in all your replies :) <3 Soo much love!! <3 :)
Wishing you a cool Saturday lol! :P
I'm depressed; but I'm trying to be kind to myself and not-judge myself for what I can't manage to do today.
I've been binge watching Netflix most of the day; and if I can sleep, I'm going to try and to go to bed early.

Do it! Just not everyday....
Awesome Thriver on Board!!!
Well... I am working to create a support system and team that will allow me to deal with Awesome Thriver Anxiety Attacks.
I know I cannot lean on my friends with the frequency of my need for support. To do so would have a detrimental effect on my relationship with them.
Here's my plan...
Local major hospital Access Line
Local Police/Medic Department has Social Workers for wellness checks. I can utilize the service when I am home alone. They will help me breathe and help me get my meds.
Attack: Phase One "oppossum." Phase Two full on Power Anxiety Attack.
I sure would like friends, support group, that "speaks my language."
Am I in the right place?
I'm looking for respect, support, and acceptance of idiosycracies.
Am I in the right place?
Pretty please...
@Thriver Hi Thriver anyone affected by traumatic experiences are welcome to use the forums here :) Im unsure from your post if your looking for support to deal with anxiety/panic alone or whether you experience these kind of problems because of experiences you had. You can take a look through our forums and if you feel your in the right place then your welcome to use the supportive resources to help you feel less alone. It sounds from your post that you are trying to put into place a support system for yourself which is really important to enable you to work on the issues you may have. We are a friendly bunch here and everyone is very supportive to one another as dealing with trauma can feel very isolating for survivors. Thanks for posting :)
I am doing well today, ready for sleep soon, long day, meds for my muscles has tired me out! Hope y'all had a good Saturday, everyone on the east coast of us don't forget to turn clocks ahead 1 hr tonight!
@jr50
Not just east coast, all of the US! I'm in Indiana and I totally forgot about daylight savings lol 🙃
@BeeLeigh have clocks gone forward in the US?
Ours changes later this month, so mmmm I guess if Im doing trauma session tomorrow which was usually at 2pm edt which was 7pm my time, this mean...oh gosh I can feel my head churning trying to work this out.....lol....it will be 6pm my time instead of 7pm as 2pm will now be 3pm?
@dancingRainbow45
At 2am tonight (Sunday, March 12), our clocks go forward and it magically becomes 3am, so your 2pm thing is really 3pm, which is really 8pm for you! Are you really only 5hrs ahead though?? I thought you were 7 lol
@BeeLeigh I was 5hrs ahead of edt time but if edt moves an hour instead of chat being at 7pm my time it will be 6pm my time until our clocks change and then back to 5hr difference
@dancingRainbow45
That's really confusing. I personally don't care for daylight savings cuz now it's gonna be dark in the mornings again -_-
@dancingRainbow45
My bad, you're 6hrs ahead of me, cuz I'm in Central Time lol
@jr50 Sounds like a fun, relaxing day and I'm so glad you're getting that! <3 Enjoy, sweetie <3
I'm alright. I didn't get out of bed until after 1pm. I've been doing my homework that's due tomorrow so I can go to the South Side Irish Parade in Chicago tomorrow with my family like we do every year, then we walk over to my aunt's house and drink all day and have sheperd's pie and my great Gramma's Irish soda bread 😊
I have been saying my self-affirmations regularly. I am also going to exercise next week.
