Is there a link to childhood abuse leading to adult relationships that contain domestic violence? Is this a cycle of comfort being abused or is it just a coincidence?

I'm not and expert but theres is a link. You look out for what you know. Have you ever talked about the abuse in therapy or something. It is important to heal to not repeat cycles and find the way to learn to connect with people in safe and loving ways
