For Australia, our number one helpline to support survivors, families and spouses of those who have experienced domestic violence is 1800RESPECT.

They offer 24hour phone counselling by calling 1800 737 732
They also have a website that can offer information for survivors, families and professionals. As well as 24hr access to online counselling. The link to their site is here

They can talk to people at any part of their journey, whether it be while they are still in an abusive relationship, or years after when they just feel the need to chat to someone safe about it.
They are all professional trauma counsellors, and are really just the most kind and understanding people ever!

If there are any Australians who need support, I would recommend starting here, and they can support you, in a kind and confidential way, by either listening to your concerns or assisting you to find the local organisations that are relevant to your situation.
