Important Questions To Ask Children
I teach English as a side job, and we are studying personality traits. I decided to ask these questions to study traits while discreetly checking up on the childs' mental health. I think it is important that teachers care for their students' struggles, and maybe this could be useful for parents,too. So here you go! (Only put important questions to discuss)
- Are you generally optimistic or pessimistic?
- Do you think you are adaptable?
- Are you independant or dependant?
- What do you think about carefree people?
- When should we be very careful? Can you give
examples?
- Do you think you are mature? If so, what makes you
mature?
- Are you communicative in conflicts?
- What can we do to be more considerate?
- Should we be kind to everyone?
- Are you determined for your goals?
- What does empathy achieve?
- What kind of people are evil?
- How competitive are you?
- Is it cruel to say 'No.'?
- Are you introverted or extroverted?
- Are people who tell white lies liars?
- Is it okay to be brutally honest?
- Do you feel hopeful for your future?
- Do you consider yourself lucky?
- Do you feel motivated at school?
- Do you feel lonely?
- Being logical or emotional, which one is important?
- Is every adult wise?
- Is it ever okay to be aggressive?
- Are you ever moody?
- Is everyone smart?
- Do you ever feel jealous?
- Is it okay to be judgemental?
- Can we be proud and humble?

- Do you think you are successful?

Such a great idea , I feel an open communication should be established between children - parents, children- teachers , teachers - parents , as it does help keep a good check on the overall well being of them and also give them assurance that they are never alone and never have to deal with anything alone , support and comfortable space will always be there for their aid ❤
A lovely set of important questions, maybe some follow up questions could be helpful too , or making these a little more open ended , so they can express more freely, I feel 😊
