I was born to an unabusivefamily. i was about two when my dad started to hurt my mom. i can't help but to feel that my being born put to much strain on my small family and it caused my dad to jump off the deep end.

It is definitely not your fault. Your father probably has his own issues that he needs to deal with.

Katy what your dad did was in no way your fault, you were a child and he was an adult. The only person responisble for your dad's actions was your dad.
