Boundaries & Breaking Up as a Result of Trauma
I struggle a lot with sexual trauma. I struggle with intimacy a lot - and while my partner knows this, they crossed some boundaries of mine that I thought I had made pretty clear to them, and more than once.
I finally took the plunge to break up with them, as I am struggling with my traumatic past to the point that I am no longer comfortable in a relationship. They are really upset, and keep begging me to come back - but I thought I had expressed my boundaries and feelings clearly enough.
What do I do?
I think what you are struggling with could be coming from the closet of a depressed person who wants to come out as though none of it happened, it's okay neither of us want that though now you have somebody a third party.
These boundaries are non existent and they may have to do with religion as we conform, we don't need to but we would like to talk more about that.
In this situation we are sad and feel like we do not want to be a part of the group though it's still like being an outcast if I am pronouncing this fine.
The whole time I am in a bubble and I can try to help you evade these sharks but it needs more excitement, don't lose these facts of character now as we approach the closure.
