Bullying and rumination
I’ve been struggling with constant rumination for more than 12 months now. My mind keeps replaying past events, insults, and hurtful words, and I find it very hard to stop once the cycle starts. I can't just move on and focus on task at hand whenever insult clicks in mind. Even when I try coping strategies, I end up switching from one solution to another without feeling fully satisfied with any one. It feels like my brain is stuck in a loop of overthinking and self-criticism, which drains my energy and peace of mind.
Hurtful Comments on which i ruminate are :
"You are , were and will remain stupid." (8 years ago)
"You do not belong to our class." (5 years ago)
I want to break this habit because it affects my daily life, confidence, and relationships.
I accept that i was a difficult person to handle with at that time and said something stupid in anger ( exploiting human vulnerability of absence of thought deletion ), but i was doing my best( i was mentally unwell at that time). I think i am bad in god's view, hence being tortured by rumination.

This is a difficult situation, and I understand what you mean. Sometimes it is difficult to overcome thoughts, especially when the event happened a long time ago and you cannot fix it. But that is the point. You have only one means now - the perception of the situation. What was then - was then, and it also does not make sense in the present. You have become different, changed, the situation is already with a different context, right? You have the right to be different and you deserve it. And what's more, everything that people say, they say about themselves, not about you. This is their vision. Somewhere more objective, somewhere not, but this is their vision. And therefore you can control yourself and everything that happens around you. But you must accept yourself. You must first of all. And I hope you accept yourself now. With all the pain and mistakes. And with all the pluses. Hold on!
