Convince me this is not a hateful species

So my sister came to visit this weekend. All I wanted was to spend time with her and show her the town I moved to. Innocent ***. Throughout the entirety of this weekend, we were harassed by absolute strangers while we were out. Three separate people screamed at us from their cars, one person screamed f — ot at us, another just screamed at the top of their lungs, the next day in a different location some dude got out of his car and was throwing up symbols at my sister’s window. Question. What in the god damned *** is wrong with this species? This is pure hatred towards two people who were minding their business. All I can say is, they didn’t do this in the town I moved from
