@versatileBunny9335 It is so hard growing up in a toxic environment. I'm sorry you and your sister have to deal with all this. Drinking isn't a good way to deal with the things you're going through. Are things better at your father's house? Is he aware of what's happening when you're at her house? Is he easy to talk to? Maybe you and your sister could tell him what's been happening if he doesn't know. If she's threatening suicide, she needs to get some help. Would he be open to you and your sister staying with him longer? Or maybe you could stay with another relative?

@versatileBunny9335 Oh.. that's not good either. Is there any other family members you can talk to about what's been going on? I'm so sorry you're in this situation.

@versatileBunny9335 One thing some home despite the abuse I had with my step father and my childrens dad I guess it was the mother instinct in me that I told  both of them “if you see you can’t trust me to talk to and confide in or just am not there for you mentally find someone whether it be a teacher, another parent, someone anyone of whom you do trust who you will know will take their ime to listen to you” I know someone who had been abused which although it doesnt happen often she confided with one of her teachers  who took the girl into her home with her own family. The girl graduated now is married with 2 children. Another thing  thats helped many teens is Alateen its a 12 step program that teens can go to to help them through their situation endured in the home. Its a free program and meetings occur throughout the day. There also meetings that can e found that can be attended online as well as the phone. I am so sorry you have to go through all of this I know its not easy. I support you and wish you the very best of luck in everything you do.

@versatileBunny9335 I feel the hurt from you, Im 16 and I haven’t wanted to be here for a while as well. One thing I want to remind you is, is that you are only 14 and you have so much ahead of you, just because that past had sucked doesn’t mean your future is doomed.

Despite your life now, WHATEVER happens, In a few years you’ll be 18 and you can create the life you want, find things you’re interested in, etc. Persevere, figure out what it is you want out of this life, thats all you need to do right now at this age.

Have a deep talk with your mom about everything, see how it goes, tell her all your feelings and thought you’ve had since you’ve dealt with trauma. Recommend what you guys can work on together, and if she just isn’t that type of person to care, you can find other people that will care! I promise you, you’ll find at least one person who cares and listens about you deeply if you keep searching, ignore the crap out of people who treat you wrong.

You are not what others say about you, you are not your fears and worries, and you are not your trauma or past. Figure out who you are, your becoming your main identity right now- at this age.

As for drinking- it’s just a distraction and a coping mechanism and it’s only ruining the future you’ll love if you stay here and create it. Find the things that matter to you and hold onto them tight.

This is the advice I wish I had, stay strong luv ❤️
