I Had a Stalker on Discord
A couple years ago there was a guy in his fifties on *** who became obsessed with me and started harassing me constantly in the servers we shared. The things he said became more and more vicious as he realized there would be no consequences, and no one ever had my back and acted like it was completely normal. Like it was two dudes not getting along and not harassment.
He used things I’d shared about my personal life and family life against me. He called me a narcissistic lying little *** which was the kind of thing he said to me on the regular in an effort to hurt me. It really got in my head and had me questioning my worth as a person. It got to the point where he was calling me a ***.
Then I realized that he was literally trying to destroy me so he could replace me and don my persona. And every terrible thing he said about me was just projection. HE was a *** and a narcissist. And he wanted to wear my skin. I blocked him and eventually had to leave the servers we shared because he wouldn’t stop and nobody would do anything about it. This was all mildly traumatizing but I was able to pull out of it the fat that I’m someone people want to be.

Your insight is spot on. Realizing that he was projecting his own narcissistic, toxic behavior onto you is a huge step. That is exactly what people like that do—they try to destroy what they envy.
You are incredibly resilient. You didn't just survive it; you realized your own worth ("I’m someone people want to be") even after he tried to break you down. That takes immense strength.
