How do you deal with a lifetime a different traumas? I grew up with a manic bipolar sister, had my apartment break in half and was homeless for 6 months, had a lot of friends overdose or kill themselves, dated an addict, someone I loved was assaulted and lost their mind and fell into extreme self destruction, and I was stabbed randomly by a random person. Any tips on how to processes this?

@poetlove You’ve been through an immense amount of pain and unimaginable challenges, and just sharing this shows incredible courage. Carrying the weight of so many traumas over a lifetime can feel overwhelming beyond words. It’s okay to acknowledge how heavy and complex all of this is  your experiences are profound and deeply impactful. Sometimes, just naming what we’ve endured is a way of honoring that strength it takes to keep going. Your story matters, and your feelings are valid.
