Rising Phoenix (poem)
In the darkness I was always subsided
To tell the truth my mind was always full of quietness
You always told me that I would never last
You always just had to be so crass
I told you each time that I would give you a pass
Which is my fault along
i should have seen the lies behind the games of pong
You pushed me down more times that i could keep count of
When I looked you in the eye and told you it was the last time
You tried to hit my heart with another meaningless rhyme
The chains you once used to bind me lie naked on the floor
The remains of what was is nothing but ash nevermore
With a sacred chant I began to rise
Just a like phoenix my wings grew larger than ever before

You have such a lovely way with words Phoenix!!
The last two lines are so beautifully written: "With a sacred chant I began to rise
Just a like phoenix my wings grew larger than ever before"
- When life gets you down, you can always rise back up stronger 💜
Thank you!! 🥺❤️
