So I'm going to start this out by saying I'm a volunteer firefighter/paramedic so about a week ago I responded to a call on the local interstate it came out as a wreck with injuries so I responded from home and when I arrived I saw the craziest scene anyway I saw a kid and check his pulse and there was not one he had obvious head trauma so I started cpr and u did cpr on him for about 40 minutes till we got to the hospital as we are not allowed to declare people in the field that is my third child that I have lost and every single one was because of a drunk driver 3 innocent lives were lost that night I have just really been struggling with all of this

@firefighter6465. It’s understandable that it would be difficult after losing 3 children like that. Is there anything that helps you when you are struggling ?

@firefighter6465. It’s good to have something to lighten your load after such difficult experiences. I used to work in the hospital and saw some things that were hard to process. I used to watch comedy shows after work which helped me.

Your always welcome to chat about it here as well.
