Trauma tw sa idk what to do
I was sa'd by a 7yo when I was 6yo. I am still struggling with that I've been hypersexual since I was 6 and used to be very sexual to pretty much everyone since I thought that's how people would like me. My mother was poor and my father a drug addict he sold pictures of me to get money for drugs and died bc of those drugs shortly after. My mom studied a lot so I was at the 7yo place a lot and loved everyone there besides her. She was very aggressive and put stuff into me. I didn't like it and now I can't get over it. She moved away some years ago so it was only happening for 6years. Now when she comes to visit she never talks about it, she just acts like nothing happened. Btw she's my cousin. I'm also a lesbian now and I don't know if I am a lesbian bc of that or not but I have never really liked men but the thought of that it's her fault I'm a lesbian makes me sick idk

Recovering from complex trauma is far from simple and healing from it can be a lifelong process, or take many years. And, it's not linear.. so some days may be more challenging than others.
I'm hearing you aren't sure how to move forward, and that's how many of us feel... before we begin and even after we've seen progress made in our own healing. By being here right now, sharing your truth, you're off to a good start even if it feels shaky and uncertain.
You didn't deserve what happened to you. It wasn't your fault. And while there is no correct pace to take, so long as you do what you're able to move forward.. including surrounding yourself with supportive people and therapeutic supports.. you will make it to brighter days you'd never thought were possible.
One day, your skin will crawl less when certain memories surface out of nowhere. One day, you'll be able to reflect on the past without cringing and being consumed with shame and immense pain.
For now, we're here for you. Best wishes, Blackberry. Feel welcome to continue sharing and connecting with others while you're here. 🦋
I don't know much about it, and could be wrong, but IMHO, it didn't make you lesbian. It's something that happens in you while you're in the womb from what I understand. Just make peace with your sexuality and make the best of your life. You're sort of limitless when young and make your own destiny.
