reoccurring nightmare
i had a nightmare this morning about my dad chasing me wanting to ki11 me. it's not the first time this has happened.
it didn't even occur to me i had this dream the first time it happened. it was only today when i realized "hey this was something i had dreamt before".
and u know how they say dreams are just subconscious thoughts about how we feel about our lives? yeah religious trauma and emotional neglect was probably what contributed to this.
oddly enough i'm no stranger to these nightmares. i remember some time back i would experience it so often. same thing. get chased, get ki11ed. by someone or something.
@ipoopcats - sorry you are going through this. I also have recurring nightmares.... the same places, themes, people from my past keep surfacing. Sometimes I remember the dream up to 12 hours after waking, other times not.
