A Voice From the Other Side
When we think of victims of violent crime we rarely consider the familial dynamic of the perpetrator. I think it is important to remember that evidence suggests a high number of unfair prison sentences to otherwise innocent people. Even when this fails to be the case, I still think a voice is needed. Primarily due to the fact that our "rehabilitation" centers do all but rehabilitate our troubled citizens into functional beings.
I urge you to share your stories, thoughts, and opinions in an appropriate and kind manner.
We definately need to re-habilitate the criminals in prison and get them some therapy and group support for sure!

Couldn't agree more! We do not rehabilitate people in this country. Often times when criminals are released they are highly likely to offend again because it is easier to them to live in prison where everything is coordinated for them. They find the outside world intimdating and overwhelming because we are not releasing these individuals with greater skill sets, psychological healing, or work force skills. And if we are, there certainly isn't enough of it happening.
