MOTHER BLAMED ME FOR THE SEXUAL ABUSE I'VE GONE THROUGH
In opening up, especially with sensitive and traumatic cases such as molestation, the victim would expect comfort and sympathy from the listener. In my situation however, blame was all I got.
Blame from someone who I expected would take my side, tell me that it'll be ok and that it wasn't my fault. Blame in the form of my own mother's words.
What happened today left me so empty and numb that I dont know what I would do tomorrow since my mind is in that dark place again.
Mom, I was only 7. I was just a kid.....
@Khelan My mother did the same thing and it was very hurtful. I have found people more supportive here and I hope that you that you can find support here too.
