I feel like it's unfair for me to be this sad about it. Because it's a thousand times with words for my partner & his family.

@Tinyheart

You have a BIG heart, even with known as tiny heart. It is totally fair for you to feel deep grief even though it is stronger for someone else you love. It is a hign human trait to be able to enter into that sad space alongside a loved one- sometimes it is the only thing that even helps just a bit. Your feeling the shock and grief does not diminish someone else's pain. Let them know how you feel with complete honesty.

prayers coming from me too- for all of you. It is the hardest death for those left behind because so many questions will be unanswered.

@Tinyheart , Losing a loved one to suicide is such a complicated feeling to deal with. It is so much more than just grief. In addition to grief, so many other emotions and thoughts come into play that would not usually present themselves in different circumstances. I know this because my sister took her own life. There is help however. Aside from therapy (which is something that is good to look into) there are support groups. I attend one and it helped me tremendously. And please feel free to message me if you are struggling.

@WuWei thank you for sharing your experience with me. The past few days have just been a blur. I'm thinking of going for therapy. I've had depression for a while now but have not taken any measures to deal with it so far. If anything, this has prompted me to get help.
