@VanillaCawfie I'm feeling tired. That's the only big emotion I have today. I've attended a workshop today and it was really tiring, even through it was really interesting.
I want to die
@EnergySensitive
Hi, have you reached out to talk to someone about how you are feeling?
@Toomuch2say2day
No one really cares as I was kindly reminded of last night.
Feverish
...that I'm fat and completely hate myself.
...angry that I can't seem to focus long enough to get anything done.
.... tired from constantly being unable to sleep.
Thank you to everyone, for their responses. I think that any emotions which one are feeling and encountering after going through traumatic events, are acceptable, valid, and normal. I also think that each and every individual will have unique responses to trauma, and react in unique ways.
I think that trying to effectively cope with emotions in healthy ways, and not trying to suppress or to hide them, can be a viable way to deal with the experience of trauma. Examples are: talking to supportive people, participating in support groups, writing in a journal, exercising, relaxation and leisure activities, creative activities such as art, music, and dance, etc.
