Quitting isn't in my blood

After 8 years of undergrad classes, 17 semesters, 3 schools, 25 psychiatric hospitalizations, 34 different psychiatric medications, 7 moves, 14 jobs, my PTSD being retriggered to the point my mental health reached it's worst point, and being practically homeless this semester, with 6 hospitalizations between March and April, I am happy to say I am finally graduating college with my Bachelor's in Psychology and my minor in Applied Behavioral Science.
There have been so many times I wanted to quit and I didn't. I had people tell me to quit, and I've had people tell me that they would have quit. I beat so many odds to get here.
I don't know how many people have heard of the ACE study, but my ACE score is a 9. I graduated high school with honors, I don't do any drugs and never have, I don't like alcohol, I don't smoke, I don't have any health concerns aside from my mental health. Statistically speaking I have no idea how this is even possible! My motivation has always been to make the world a better place and I've always wanted to inspire others. I wanted to go to grad school to be a therapist, but I don't want to put myself through that right now, so I'm going to look for jobs in mental health advocacy and education, particularly on getting mental health education into public schools, including trauma informed care as part of the natural way teachers interact with students.
