It's been 15 years and I never really thought about it or acknowledged what happened. I was able to read stories, watch TV shows, or even see scenes in movies about it without feeling panicked or sick.

I know I never talked with anyone about it and after years of denying it I guess it's to be expected but I really didn't.

Now there's a show I'm watching and I like it but everytime they touch on the subject it makes me uncomfortable to the point I want to cry. I hate these feelings they make me feel weak.

I miss the times where i dissociated and even though the memories had my face i still didn't believe it was me or that it happened to me. I just needed to rant I guess.

@Collateraldamage7 - It can be tough when suddenly something brings up those feelings or memories even when similar things didn't used to impact you like that. It sounds like there's a lot of emotion coming up right now - would it help to talk about what happened?
