Once I was put under false accusation in college and was coerced into admitting that I was wrong. My name was later cleared up, but it unknowingly had left an impact on me, because I had always been a honest person and that was quite a big case. Ever since then, I've been depressed, anxious, and I get scared whenever someone raises their voice or there's sudden movements and loud sounds.

I'm honestly tired of having my heart beating so hard almost everyday (especially since the people around me speak with loud voice), and I've also been avoiding going to college for almost a year. I'm working on getting rid of my fears, but I need to get this off my chest, especially since sometimes I doubt if I can really recover from that event.

@moonglade301 wow I am so sorry to hear that. That sounds intense. It sort of sounds like you have PTSD.

@moonglade301 It sounds like you went through a really traumatic experience and are still dealing with lingering effects from that. That's totally understandable. Please know that you are never alone on this site and that there are people here who can help you through the extra tough times. Whether it's connecting with a listener, participating in group chats or connecting on other forums, I think you'll find that this is a community of supportive and open people. Stay strong. heart
