sex and trauma *trigger warning*

I have a question. Hope I don't trigger anyone with this.

I went through an extremly mentally (and sometimes physical) abusive relationships with an ex.

Since then I became really into submissive sex. I only feel confort that way. I only even think of the other party, if they're feeling good. And feel unconfortable if the person cares for me..

My question is: is this type of rough sex related to this? I've been thinking alot on this and would think a view on this.
