the in btwn of co m-parents
being open and honest with my daughter is kind of tough cuz it has her emotions sorting out what is real and mental pain
co-parenting is not easy even when I do my best to be the bigger person. I am not for the drama.
To be the one who is always on top of things when co-parenting is 90% me and 10% him at least checking on her/asking what she needs/ sending his luv to her. That is thee minimum of his daddy duties.
School, lunch, bedtime, meltdowns, all of this eye am responsible for.
With all of the technology we have he fails to do that. Even tho he is suppose to spend time with her. His priorities are not straight
. I do my best not to let my trigger response flow when I get off the phone with him.
Making new boundaries for self . She senses when my inner-g is off 😮💨😮💨😮💨 All eye can do is protect my inner-g so it does not rub off on her. Knowing he is talking negatively about me to her makes her sad too. No body wants a sad child knowing she is such a happy child on a daily basis.
All eye can do as the lead parent is make her days joyful with less stressful 💜💜
@Lenaye8 What you're doing is very brave and I can't hide my admiration! It's indeed very challenging but you still put your kid's well-being above anything. i believe you're a great parent and you do things the best way we all could thought of. You can always connect with a listener for a session in order to vent and receive extra support since it can be overwhelming to have all these roles at once and try to keep the balance! Thank you for sharing!
