Feeling lethargic
Hello Trauma Community,
I’ve had some lethargic days. Feel a bit lost in life. Working through trauma with a therapist. I feel like it’s never ending work. But I’m so tired of just surviving. I need to clean my apartment

I'm not a professional, but my advice is that you find something you're willing to do. Then set a period of time during which you forget everything. Hope this makes you feel better.
I’m in the same boat. I just don’t have any energy to do anything. I’m tired of being tired.
In my worst days I always remember one thing I learnt... when I get up... even if that isn't when I should be getting up... I make the bed... just put the pillow in place and straighten the duvet... not a big job and not too daunting... but the whole room instantly looks better and I've achieved something. If I do nothing else then I still achieved that and get to go back to a nice looking bed later, and if I have any extra motivation from achieving it then I can go on and do another tiny thing or two as well
@LadyDunan
This might not sound like much, but I have as well put it in place a few years back to at least not go back to a messy bed, and it genuinely helps if we're having a bad day, and just that small effort can help follow up with another one.
It's all about building up an healthy routine that will help carrying on the day.

I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling this way. I can relate as it has been something I struggle with as well, and that can impact healing as a whole as we contemplate our progress every day from our ability to cope with our duties and be productive.
You mention the need to clean your home, and I know that in some areas some charities provide support for hoarders and people struggling with their mental health in coming to help them cleaning/tidying. I was wondering if maybe something like that could be useful for you? Waking up to a clean and tidy place can do wonders on our mental state.
