Psychosis caused my BPD

So I've been doing some research and basically vivid hallunciantions/ pschosis can cause PTSD. I'm not saying I have it just that I have the symptoms of PTSD (I saw some horrific things- even if they weren't real) I think talking to the mental health team would be the next step for me to get their opinions.

Thoughts are welcome

@DrayUnseen

Yes, you need to take care of the psychosis first. I hope you can see someone soon.

Hi Dray, I am the Forum Supporter of this sub-community, and I am honored to have the pleasure of meeting you. If I understand your post correctly, you have psychosis and feel you may be suffering from PTSD. I know this must be very hard to make sense of, and not knowing can make us more anxious.

To ensure that you get the proper diagnosis, it is best to go to a Doctor or therapist because those symptoms can feed into one another. It can be very easily misdiagnosed because the two conditions

do walk hand in hand in some ways. No matter the diagnosis, you are more than a label or condition,

Keep posting and let us know how you are doing. Hope to see you around the forum again real soon😊❤️
