3 years ago I was raped by my tinder date. It took me a while to accept that it was rape, I guess I didn’t want to accept the truth. I could really use some words of encouragement.

You are so brave to post this. I am so sorry that such horrible thing happened to you. It takes time to accept what happened for me it took around 5-6 months and for everyone it's different and everything is valid. I also didn't want to accept it and kept telling myself that I didn't feel anything.
It could be really difficult to deal with this intensely disturbing memory on your own so would recommend seeing a therapist when you feel ready, I too see one. You are deserving of support and care, Sail I hope you will find that be it here or outside❤ we as a community are there to support you through this!
