Can't stand the "new" me
Ever since I had my baby I can't stand myself. Everytime I look in the mirror I'm disgusted by who I see and it makes me sad and angry. Everyone around me has told me that I should love my body and that it's beautiful because it brought my baby into the world. I don't feel the same way they do on that topic. How am I supposed to love the way I look, regardless if my uterus and body carried my child. It's awful. I wasn't much of a looker before sure, but now it's just worse and I hate it. Flabby stomach, fat thighs, calcium cannons are droopy. And my eyes would make you think I came right out of the walking dead. I hate walking around like this and no matter what I do I can't seem to make myself look or feel any better. I'm just a walking nightmare. I don't blame my baby for making me look like this. I love them with all my heart and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Just wish I didn't have to deal with looking the way I do now. Anyway..that's my 2 cents for the day.

Think of the beautiful little person you just received,
yes your body is not what it use to be, it has just done the most incredible thing it could do,
Yes people we tell you to love your body, and yes we should, but not that easy,
Start setting yourself little achievable goals to get back in shape,
If you use make up, put it on if that makes you feel better when at home, same as do you hair ETC,
or maybe if an option go get your hair and nails done, something for you to make yourself feel a bit better
Thank you I think I can do that but with my baby. I see myself in him in a lot of ways and he is beautiful. So I guess the qualities he has from me I can appreciate about myself too.

its hard, but you will get there, your stronger then what you think, but be positive, set yourself small goals, small steps, day by day, yes there will be backwards steps but that's OK, keep moving forward
good luck, and congrats on the little one
