I don't know what to do

I haven't don't anything properly yet, but whenever I stay at my dads house my cousins usually stay there as well as their mum (my aunty) lives there also (she's disabled). Anyways I just turned 18 and my eldest cousin is 22 ... For years he has been flirty and touchy but recently he has started to jump into bed with me when I'm trying to sleep, or grab me and lie us down together and lock the door. He attempts to touch me and make me touch him but I can never stop him! I can't scream because I don't want anyone to find out... I haven't done anything extreme with him because I always find a way out, but I'm scared he will become aggressive as I am now 18 ... He is family ... I do not want this ... I can't tell anyone because he's family and we are all very close .. What do I do!

@Heyitsirum Hello. I'm very sorry you're in this situation. Your cousin is completely in the wrong. No means no, end of. He has no right to your space, your body, and he's not just abusing you but he's abusing the situation as well. I can fully understand why you don't want to say anything, truly. It's family and it could cause a huge disruption. Better that than you risking yourself when you stay there. It's only a matter of time before he goes further. His confidence will grow and he'll think he can get away with it. Tell your dad. Being very honest, your cousin hasn't left you with a choice, you cannot sacrifice your safety and your family ultimately would not want you to. Stand strong, don't stay if he's there, and do speak out. Either way, there are consequences but at least telling someone means it has the chance to stop. Try to put yourself outside the situation. What would you advise if it were someone else in your situation. Then you can see that this is not your fault, that your cousin has to take full responsibility for his actions, and he alone has to face the fallout because he's the one in the wrong. Not you. Take care and here if ever you need support. Janet

@CuriousBookworm5

thank you so much! I can't describe how much im thankful for your reply! I think I will stop staying over when he is there and if he tries it again I will speak out confidently! If he goes any further and hurts me, that is when I will voice it to my family, but for now I think I can manage by myself. Thank you again for your help!
