I think about him almost every day.
I feel like it's ruined my life and has stigmatized me forever. So my story...It's almost too cliché. I've known him since I was in kindergarten. This happened senior year and it was prom night. We actually didn't interact at prom at all. He was the charmer and a class clown. I was in advanced classes and in an early college program. Even though we went to the same high school, we lived in different worlds. We still talked from time to time. We were both also in band. After prom ended I texted him and asked if he was doing anything later. Prom was pretty boring and I wanted to get out and have fun. My boyfriend had broken up with me a few months ago and I just wanted a good distraction. We ended up agreeing to go downtown. He picked me up at my house. It was fun while we were there. We got to dance, and of course I had a few too many drink. I barely made it to his car, where I fell asleep. I was in and out of conciousness. Before I knew it we had arrived to our destination. I just didn't recognize the place. It was his home. He walked over to my side to help me out. He stopped and lingered over my dress and thighs. I was confused and embarrassed. He started kissing me in the car. From there, he carried me into his house and into his room. By now I could see what was happening but was still very out of it. I saw him roll the condom on, and from there I froze. He held me on top of him and finished his business. It would be two years before I realized it was rape.
Good for you for being brave enough to post your story. It's time to pick up the pieces and move on. You've got a lot of life ahead of you.
I'm so sorry. What he did wasn't right :(
@SadKitty93 I am sorry to hear about what happened to you. It is really devastating to be taken advantage of people we trust. I know it is hard to get over that incident. I am glad to know though that you are trying your best to move one.
