Romantic Dreams About My Abuser
I keep having romantic dreams about the person who sexually assaulted me. He bullied me and SA’d me and I’m so frustrated that I am having romantic dreams about him. Does this happen to anyone else? Like why??
@generousDime7839 , what age were you when you were abusec? Its also possible that you have a high drive and do you have someone intimate close to you? Any one of these things could be the reason for your dreams.

Hi I can understand how this situation would be frustrating for you. *TW* I have experienced something similar in that I have had nightmares of sexual assault/abuse with the abuser.
I have read that can happen after trauma even many years later. It can also be a symptom of PTSD which can be diagnosed by a mental health professional.
