Statics sexual assault global **TRIGGER WARNING**

around 36% of woman globally have experienced physical or sexual assault, but rape still remains the most underreported crime in the world.

1 in 3 european woman have suffered some form of physical or sexual assault.

In India, a woman is raped every twenty minutes.

And in the United States someone is sexually assaulted every 107 seconds,

but for every 1000 rapes that happen in the US, only 334 are reported to the police.

In the last decade, there have been 6647 female rape victims in Bangladesh

Plus another 2157 female victims of gang rape over the decade.

South Africa has one of the highest rates of rape crimes in the world.

Its estimated that more than 40% of South African woman will be raped in their lifetime, however its also estimated that only 1 in 9 cases are actually reported.

Over 1 in 10 girls worldwide have experienced forces intercourse or other forced sexual acts at some point in their lives.
