Was it rape? Was it sexual assault? Was it anything?
Hi! This happened a few months ago I'm really struggling with it -- mostly because I have no idea what it was.
My boyfriend and I were having sex a few months ago. At one point, it really really started to hurt, and I told him to stop. He paused for a moment but then he kept going. At that point, I just kept pleading with him to stop, repeating the word over and over again.
He didn't say anything about it afterwards and acted completely normal.
I've posted everywhere about this recently and I've gotten all kinds of responses. I've gotten people saying that it wasn't rape because he was already inside me with consent, I've gotten people saying that it was rape because he didn't stop when I wasn't consenting, people have told me it was sexual assault because it hurt and he wouldn't stop. Maybe it's nothing, I don't know, but it doesn't feel right.
Rape is unconsexual sex. Not only were you pleading for him.to stop, you were also in pain and he kept going. You said no and he kept going. Even if, for some reason, it wasnt classed as rape, it would still be sexual assault which is punishable by law. I really wish you all the best but i dont feel like i could offer any course if action because obviously different people have different comfort zones

To me, as long as you begged him to stop and he did not,it psychologically becomes rape from that point, as your body was feeling invaded and physically hurt. As for the legal part, I have no idea.
I guess that if you want to know about the legal part, you will have to visit some specialist(s) in your country, don't you think, as each country has different laws?
Now, maybe I am completely wrong but I wonder if your asking everywhere about it being rape or not might be a way for you to avoid facing something, although I don't know what? Please be aware that I am absolutely not judging about anything, I am just wondering.
