Ignoring Bullies
One tactic, which can be utilized when an individual is persistently the victim of bullying, is to strive to ignore this negative behaviour, directed towards themselves. Nobody deserves maltreatment, in any circumstance, or in any shape or form - no matter who they are, or what situation they are in.
You do not have to respond to people who bully you. You can try to ignore them, their insults, their criticisms, and their negative treatment. It may be challenging, but you did not deserve any mistreatment in the first place. Nobody has the right to try to cause you harm, in any manner.
Some bullies will want to exert power and have some control over your feelings and emotions. You do not have to pay any attention to these people, who are trying to bother you. They want to illicit a negative reaction from you. No-one has the right to try to negatively interfere in your life.
If you are being bullied, communicate your experiences with others. Report negative incidents, where necessary. Don't stay silent.
Nobody deserves this poor treatment. Ignoring bullies may act as an effective remedy for one, going through the challenging experience of bullying.
I think ignoring a bully or their actions can be really powerful when possible, but I also know that there are a lot of circumstances of bullying that cannot be ignored and I appreciate the reminder in here that reporting is also an important step.

You are correct. Reporting bullying can be an effective route in dealing with situations involving bullying. If you are bullied online, you can contact the site administrators about the negative incidents. If you are bullied at school, you can get support from a guidance counsellor, or someone similar. If you are bullied at work, you can speak to the Human Resources department, etc.
