Loss of my dad
I loss my dad in 2020 from a sudden heart attack
- *trigger warning*
I was 18 a month after I moved into my first apartment I invited my dad over to cook a dinner with me/ teach me how to cook.
He came in and sat in a wooden chair in my living room, he had looked a little distressed but I didn’t know what was wrong he continued to talk to me then all the sudden he fell out of the chair and onto the floor… and wasn’t breathing…
I panicked, frantically called 911 in desperate need of help… I did everything they said to do I began cpr I got him breathing again but by the time the rescue squad got to my apartment he was gone…
I was only 18 I was so close to him and I miss him every single day every holiday…
I feel like I’m crazy because it’s been 2 years and I’m still grieving, I’m still sad about losing him while my family has moved on
I downloaded this app in hopes it will help me cope…

Hey there, it must have been difficult to share that with us and i can't even begin to imagine how much pain you were in the actual event. I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope that you're able to find some closure on this app and find a community that will support you. Hoping the best with your recovery. Grief is normal and your father must have been a great dad to you.
@peachypatti. I don’t think it means your crazy for grieving after 2 years. Everyone grieves differently. I’m sorry for your loss. I hope that you can get the support you need here ❤️.
