Rest In Peace Dad 🌹
Hi, my Dad passed away in 2018 (I was 20 years old) due to liver disease caused by alcoholism. I seen his deceased body laying there on the hospital bed. Completely Grey, eyes rolled back. It was one of the most traumatic moments in my life to ever experience. I’m so hurt by it till this day I still can’t find the right words to express my emotions during this moment, it still feels so unreal and I’d never wish this on anybody. I’m so grateful he’s no longer suffering in pain anymore, resting his soul in another lifetime. However, I do really wish that I had him alive for guidance. If you made it this far, just want to say thank you so much for reading my personal traumatic experience. I am still coping and healing from not only the loss of my favorite person in the whole worlds, but like also from witnessing his dead body too.
if you can relate on any level, I’d love to hear you share your story & also if you have any tips on healing from a death of a parent comment under this post. Thank you so much for listening 🌹

aw hey , I am sorry to hear about your loss :( I so wish I had the right words to say but losing a parent and witnessing their body lay lifeless before you is beyond heartbreaking . I can understand how losing a loved one leaves a mark on us , feeling traumatized is valid. Grief is personal to everyone and you're allowed all your time to process yours as how you'd like , take all your time ❤
It is sweet how you're comforting yourself by reassuring that he's in a better , pain free place ~ I sure hope his soul rests in peace and may y'all have the strength to cope up with this loss.
I don't know if you've come across this already but 7 cups has a self help guide on grief , other guides too found here I hope this helps somewhat, along with ofcourse sharing your feelings and having company of listeners here. Also sharing this forum thread where I've shared something about the same and hopefully you find some solace in these words.
Take super great care of yourself and continue to hang in there, it may not feel okay now , but perhaps someday it will be a lot better ~ sending beams of love and strength 🤗
